Job summary

IAPMO Group in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee documentation, regulatory filings, and contractor registrations for public construction projects. You will coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners to keep projects compliant and moving forward.

You'll manage records, track renewal dates, and liaise with insurance brokers while guiding a small compliance staff to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in compliance, contract administration, or document management.
• Construction or public works experience is desired.
• Familiarity with subcontractor documentation, registrations, and insurance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance procedures for public construction projects and contractor licensing/registrations.
• Ensure subcontractors meet onboarding and prequalification requirements.
• Review and maintain essential records (insurance certificates, tax forms, registrations).
• Monitor paperwork, renewal dates, and follow up on missing information.
• Coordinate with insurance brokers to obtain updated documentation.
• Maintain files related to compliance, insurance, and construction law matters.
• Collaborate with project managers, accounting, purchasing and other departments to close gaps.
• Guide and supervise compliance support personnel to meet deadlines and quality standards.
