MPACT Strategic Consulting LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Compliance Manager to provide onsite oversight for a Lower East Side project. You will serve as the primary onsite compliance representative, coordinating with the project team, general contractor, subcontractors, workers, and stakeholders to support compliance with workforce, labor, and business participation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, public administration, compliance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for construction compliance matters.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with applicable project requirements, including M/WBE participation and prevailing wage.
• Conduct regular site observations and worker interviews to verify workforce activity.
• Review certified payrolls, workforce reports, contractor documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Track subcontractor participation, workforce utilization, and hiring commitments.
• Coordinate with the general contractor to resolve missing documentation and identified issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly compliance reports and summaries.
• Escalate significant concerns to project leadership when appropriate.
