Job summary

Hinson Faulk, P.A. is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to manage a varied caseload centered on construction and business litigation, and serious personal injury matters. You will draft pleadings, conduct research, and advise clients on their rights and options.

The role is full-time and on-site in Indian Trail, NC with some remote work opportunity after onboarding. Ideal candidates hold at least 2 years of civil litigation experience and an active NC license.

Qualifications

• Strong civil litigation skills, including case analysis, motion practice, discovery management, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing, with the ability to draft clear, well-supported pleadings, briefs, and memoranda.
• Effective client communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain complex legal issues in accessible terms.
• Negotiation and advocacy skills for settlement discussions, mediation, and courtroom representation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet court and client deadlines with attention to detail.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professionalism, and delivering high-quality, cost-conscious legal services.
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.
• Minimum 2 years civil litigation experience, including courtroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law and statutes, develop case strategy, and advise clients on their rights and options.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
