Job summary

LawFirms in North Carolina seeks two Commercial Litigation Associates with 2+ years of experience to join a premier litigation boutique. The role is full-time onsite in Greensboro, Raleigh, or Charlotte.

You will handle complex commercial matters, draft pleadings, manage discovery, take depositions, and assist with trial preparation under experienced attorneys, contributing to a balanced, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Commercial litigation experience preferred, but other complex litigation backgrounds are welcome.
• Strong legal research, writing, discovery, and motion practice skills.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and a long-term litigation career mindset.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Manage discovery, perform legal research, and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and settlements.
• Work with experienced attorneys and clients while taking increasing ownership of matters.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial work as appropriate.
