Job summary

WCG Construction is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in its core markets. You will identify and vet high-potential leads, nurture relationships with owners, developers, and architects, and position WCG to win high-quality commercial work.

You will work with leadership, Construction Executives, Preconstruction, and Marketing, using BUILDR to track leads and intelligence, and represent the company at industry events and associations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account management.
• Construction or related industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify strong leads and develop them into pursuits and contracts.
• Build and maintain networks with owners, developers, architects, and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with leadership to inform pursuit strategies and RFP responses.
• Represent WCG at industry associations and events.
• Track pipeline metrics and report to leadership.
