Job summary

Wainwright Talent Partners is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Southeast construction market. You will drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new opportunities, building relationships with developers and owners, and representing the firm’s brand and safety culture.

You will manage early client engagement, lead qualification, and collaboration with estimating and operations to convert opportunities into projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated success closing complex, high-value projects preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction, land development, or related industries.
• Established network with developers, owners, investors, and CRE professionals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and develop new commercial construction opportunities.
• Generate and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads via outreach, networking, events, and follow-up.
• Lead early-stage client engagement from introduction through contract execution.
