Job summary

Natale Building Corp, based in Clarence, NY, seeks a detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper to join our team. This role supports project success by bringing financial expertise into a dynamic construction environment.

You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, AP/AR, subcontractor payments, job costing, and budget monitoring. Strong organizational skills and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or a related industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar construction accounting software.
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP schedules, and construction billing.
• Experience with AIA billing and subcontractor compliance is a plus.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process subcontractor payments, vendor invoices, and job cost tracking
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger entriesMonitor project budgets and prepare financial reports for management
• Maintain organized records of contracts, lien waivers, and financial documents
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate job costing and budget tracking
