Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or administrative experience.
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with project billing and change orders preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Professional and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer invoices and progress billings into QuickBooks.
• Review billing information and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare change order documentation based on field tickets, project notes, and information provided by the project team.
• Create and organize change orders in the company’s tracking system.
• Update and maintain change order logs, including tracking submitted, pending, and approved items.
• Follow up with Project Managers and internal teams regarding outstanding change order information and documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer, project, and job records.
• Assist with accounting data entry, filing, and recordkeeping.
• Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Generate reports and assist with tracking project billing information.
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
