Qualifications

  • Requires a four-year high school diploma or equivalent and five years of full-time experience managing/inspecting construction projects totaling at least $300,000 annually; or
  • One year of experience plus a baccalaureate degree in engineering/construction related field; or
  • One year of experience plus a valid professional license (PE/RA/LA); or
  • Combination of education and experience to total five years as described above.

Responsibilities

  • Audit partial, substantial, final, and retainage payments requisitions for construction contracts and related services.
  • Perform field visits to verify quantity/quality of work and ensure payments reflect work performed.
  • Write audit reports to justify approval, adjustment, or rejection of payment requisitions; review change orders for validity and cost reasonableness.
