Job summary

The City of New York Department of Design and Construction, Division of Safety and Site Support, seeks a Safety Auditor to oversee safety programs on construction sites. You will conduct field safety audits, identify hazards, and enforce safety policies in alignment with OSHA, DOT, DOB, and MUTCD.

Responsibilities include preparing electronic reports, managing safety records, attending meetings, supporting emergency response, participating in incident investigations, and reviewing Site Safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 28 semester credits in industrial hygiene, environmental health science, occupational health science and/or safety engineering; or related fields with alternative combinations.
• Proven ability to identify, evaluate and control health and safety hazards.
