Job summary

Dean Dorton seeks an Assurance Manager of Construction Services to oversee engagements from start to finish, managing client relationships and internal teams to ensure quality and timely deliverables. Focused on construction clients such as general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and real estate entities, you will lead teams and provide technical guidance.

You will mentor staff, participate in business development, and stay current on construction-specific accounting and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Five to six years of experience in assurance or accounting, with construction clients preferred.
• CPA licensure is required.
• Other certifications in accounting or construction industry finance are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assurance engagements for construction clients, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Review workpapers and financial statements, including percentage-of-completion and bonding reporting.
• Maintain strong client relationships as main point of contact for construction clients.
• Lead engagement teams, provide technical guidance, and mentor staff.
• Stay current on construction industry accounting standards and regulatory updates.
