Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking an Assurance Manager to oversee engagements from start to finish, coordinating client relationships and internal teams to ensure quality deliverables. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Five to six years of experience in an assurance or accounting related role.
• CPA licensure required.
• Other certifications (e.g., CIA) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assurance engagements from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Review workpapers and financial statements, prepare audit files and binders for review.
• Manage client relationships as the primary contact and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Create and execute assurance plans, including testing scope and schedules.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting principles and assurance methodologies.
• Coach and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
