Thrive Construction in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project managers across preconstruction through closeout. You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project reporting while growing toward a Project Manager role.

You will work on-site with the construction team, coordinating vendors, tracking budgets, and ensuring safety and SWPPP compliance. A related degree is preferred with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent construction experience considered.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, and change orders preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Aufgaben

• Preconstruction: conduct page turns and design reviews, flag conflicts, assist with estimating and budget development; draft scopes and contract docs; prepare safety and SWPPP requirements; issue job start notifications.
• Active Construction: manage submittals and RFIs with aging reports; record and distribute meeting minutes; assist PM with budget and schedule tracking; track escalations; process change orders; support safety compliance; coordinate deliveries and site orientations; prepare project reports.
• Closeout: issue closeout notifications; compile warranty documentation; upload project records; maintain organized paperwork.
• Trade Partner Relationships: communicate with trade partners, resolve conflicts, escalate to PM when needed.
• Technology & Administration: use Thrive platforms for documentation and storage; keep files current and accessible.
• Growth & Development: learn from PMs to advance to PM role; contribute ideas to improve processes.
