Job summary

IMC Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help keep projects organized from preconstruction through closeout. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to support all phases and ensure alignment of scope, schedule, and budget with client expectations.

This role offers exposure to RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation while developing cost control and scheduling skills in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in commercial construction projects and project documentation.
• Familiarity with construction management software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Execution from post-bid through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and client alignment.
• Assist with preconstruction and buyout, bid packaging, scope review, and subcontractor coordination.
• Help develop and track project budgets, monitor cost performance, and support change management.
• Assist in maintaining the project schedule with the Superintendent and Project Manager, coordinating materials and trades.
• Maintain strong client, design team, subcontractor, and internal team relationships; communicate clearly.
