Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of multiple active construction projects in San Francisco. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, accounting, subcontractors, architects, and owners to keep documentation, schedules, costs, and closeout activities organized and moving forward.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience within the construction industry.
• Experience supporting construction projects in roles like Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or Assistant Project Manager preferred.
• Proficiency with RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout processes.
• Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with scheduling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and distribute weekly project documentation (submittal logs, RFI logs, change order logs).
• Review contract documents and drawings to identify required submittals and documentation.
• Coordinate submittal process from preparation through review, approval, and distribution.
• Attend meetings with owner/architect/contractor and prepare minutes and follow-up docs.
• Support project coordination by reviewing drawings, specs, and related documents.
• Assist in identifying potential cost or schedule impacts from various stakeholders.
• Process and track subcontractor change orders and invoices.
• Maintain organized project records and support project billing schedules.
• Coordinate closeout requirements including warranties and as-built docs.
• Provide field teams with requested documentation and timely updates.
