Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through completion. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, clients, and design teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety expectations.

The role offers exposure to commercial, institutional, healthcare, municipal, and industrial markets with mentorship from senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement activities.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Track project costs, commitments, and financial reporting.
• Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
• Monitor project schedules and support recovery planning when needed.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement efforts.
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
• Support quality control and project closeout activities.
• Partner with field operations teams to ensure effective communication and project execution.
