Job summary

FireSeeds in the Bay Area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a few years of construction experience who is ready to advance toward Project Manager responsibilities.

This hands-on role offers exposure to both field and office operations within a growing private heavy civil contractor in Northern California. You will support project teams, manage documentation, and contribute to scheduling and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction experience.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience as Project Engineer or Assistant PM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs from project startup through closeout.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and procurement.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and owners.
• Review plans, specifications, and project scopes.
• Spend time in the field supporting project execution.
