Apex Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee assigned projects in collaboration with a Senior PM. The role is well-suited for an experienced assistant PM or a Superintendent with digital management skills transitioning to a PM role.

You will study plans, develop schedules, track costs, manage field conditions, and coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure projects stay on plan and on schedule.

Qualificações

• Evidence of experience in construction project management.
• Proficiency with laptops, email, internet, Excel, Word and scheduling programs.
• 3–7 years on commercial construction projects, including small commercial/retail work.
• Ability to read blueprints from site plan to finish elements like electrical/plumbing.

Responsabilidades

• Study plans and identify work for project planning and scheduling.
• Develop and maintain schedules and tools to communicate progress to crews and teams.
• Track project cost and process change orders in a timely manner.
• Verify field conditions against plans and ensure work is completed as designed.
• Track materials and deliveries to site; follow up on missing items to avoid delays.
• Submit daily construction reports with approved photos.
• Assist in managing Superintendent in the field on designated projects.
• Submit RFIs/Clarifications to Architects/PMs/Engineers to align with plans.
