Job summary

The ASP Team is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant in Issaquah, WA to manage invoicing, cash application, and collections for a fast-paced construction environment. The role includes revenue recognition and month-end close support.

The position requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, familiarity with GAAP and AIA forms, and proficiency in Acumatica or similar systems. Hybrid schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience; construction/project-based background preferred.
• Familiarity with percentage-of-completion accounting and GAAP revenue recognition.
• Experience with Acumatica or similar mid-tier construction accounting system.
• Experience with AIA Forms G702/G703 and schedules of values.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and see projects to completion.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue monthly AIA payment applications and non-AIA invoices via billing portals.
• Support change order invoicing and lien waiver collection.
• Record daily bank deposits and credit card payments.
• Evaluate AR aging and follow up on past-due balances.
• Monitor retainage receivable balances and ensure timely collections.
• Maintain AR records and billing documentation; support external audits.
