Job summary

Lawrence-Lynch Corp. is seeking an Accounts Receivable specialist to support the Project Management team with invoicing and project cost review. You will maintain project records, process cash receipts, and liaise with customers on invoices and delinquent accounts.

The role also supports other administrative departments and requires strong Excel and accounting software skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and five (5) years of professional administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business or Accounting with three (3) years' of relevant experience is preferred.
• Three (3) years of project management and/or project accounting experience is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Management and Operations to produce monthly invoices.
• Review monthly job cost per project.
• Review and prepare AIA, AR, and Material Sales Invoices.
• Maintain customer, contract, and construction files.
• File copies of invoices and backup in the executed contract folder.
• Process and apply cash receipts for material sales.
• Deposit and record checks for material sales.
• Contact customers regarding invoices and delinquent accounts.
• Research collection and account issues.
• Process lien waivers.
• Process requests for credit references.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable functions as assigned.
• Work with vendors and internal departments as required.
• Assist with Certified Payrolls.
