Job summary

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is seeking a Staff Accountant II – Construction to manage the full construction AP workflow in Procore and our accounting system. You will process invoices, ensure accurate coding, and drive month-end close with strong internal controls.

You will interact with subcontractors and internal teams to obtain compliance documents, perform reconciliations, and support year-end 1099 reporting. In-person, office-based role with a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Procore: extensive working knowledge for construction AP workflow.
• Sage Intacct: proficiency in reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
• Microsoft 365: advanced skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong data-entry and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full construction AP workflow in Procore and accounting system.
• Process approved invoices for payment via weekly checks with controls.
• Review account coding for reasonableness; resolve vendor discrepancies.
• Maintain automated AP system and approve batch entries.
• Support month-end close: reconciliations and accrual coordination.
• Prepare journal entries for reclasses and corrections in Sage Intacct.
• Ensure construction AP cash controls and funding verification.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for compliance docs and filing.
• Assist audit/compliance activities and 1099 processing.
