Job description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Construction/Maintenance Planner who will be responsible for drafting and reviewing construction Work Packages, including incorporating stakeholder comments, routing for final signatures, and closure. The Construction/Maintenance planner will compile daily quantity report data and provide accurate mechanical installation completion percentages to the Construction schedule. They will also plan, track, and execute preventative maintenance (PMs) with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, the planner will manage the M&TE program for Construction, including instrument calibration, storage, and check-in/check-out procedures. The individual will participate in daily departmental planning sessions.

The base salary range for this position is $73,000/year-$136,000/year, plus a comprehensive compensation package. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Collaborate with the Site Construction Manager to develop and implement Construction Work Packages, including supporting Work Instruction programs and procedures for self-perform construction.
2. Provide construction expertise for design and construction of the facility, such as system descriptions, training materials, work packages, and system walk-downs.
3. Define and coordinate work plan activities (work packages, schedule input, weekly tracking) to enable effective construction.
4. Manage Work Package inputs from installation through completion and acceptance.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering is preferred but not required.
• At least two (2) years of experience in maintenance supervisory or planning roles.
• Project Controls / Oracle P6 Scheduling experience.
• Experience in Navy Nuclear or nuclear facility engineering, operations, or maintenance in NRC or DOE regulated environments is desirable but training will be provided.
• Experience with computerized construction and project control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
