Job summary

Davenergy Solutions is seeking a Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to provide onsite Construction Facilities Management support at the West Haven VA Medical Center in West Haven, CT. This role handles administrative tasks, coordination, and compliance within a live facility during major renovations.

Requirements include rapid understanding of jurisdictional rules, strong communication and software skills, and knowledge of QA, safety, and cost control. Training for VA systems may be required.

Qualifications

• The CM-CA shall understand local, state, and federal requirements related to the project.
• Strong communication and software skills to monitor and produce work products.
• Working knowledge of construction practices and project plans.
• Familiarity with site operations of GC and subs.
• Experience monitoring construction activities for QA.
• Ability to identify incongruities in Contractor work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management, planning, scheduling and constructability reviews.
• Conduct site inspections and document progress and quality issues.
• Review submittals, RFIs, meetings, and pay applications.
• Ensure documentation supports engineering risk assessments affecting patient care.
• Support QA, safety, cost control, and information management.
