Job summary

Davenergy Solutions is seeking a Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to provide onsite Construction Facilities Management support at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia.

This role supports major renovation and construction efforts within an active VA facility by delivering administrative and coordination support in line with government requirements. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate with GC and subs, monitor QA, safety, schedule, and costs, and

Qualifications

• Understand and master local, state, and federal jurisdiction requirements related to the project.
• Strong communication and software skills to monitor and produce work products.
• Working knowledge of construction practices to support QA, safety, schedule, cost, and information management.
• Familiarity with site operations of a General Contractor and Subcontractors.
• Experience monitoring construction activities for QA.
• Experience preparing and analyzing documentation for conformance with construction documents.
• Required training to be completed within contract timeframes: OSHA 30-Hour Safety Training, VA Cyber Security Awareness Training, VA Privacy Awareness Training, VA IT Training for operation of VA systems.

Responsibilities

• Administration oversight and evaluation for EHRM construction projects.
• Assistance with project management, scheduling, constructability reviews, code compliance, testing, record keeping, cost control, and general oversight.
• Conducts site inspections, prepares daily logs, and documents progress and quality issues.
• Assists with submittal reviews, RFIs, progress meetings, contractor pay applications, and issue resolution.
• Determines documentation needs based on engineering risk assessments that could impact patient care or facility operations.
