Job summary

ms consultants, inc. in Youngstown, OH (also Akron area) is seeking a Construction Administrator to manage day-to-day operations of construction projects from start to finish.

Experience with waterline, sanitary, and storm sewer installation is required, with exposure to asphalt, concrete, or water/wastewater facilities preferred. The role involves submittal processing, on-site observations, collaboration with designers, contractors, and clients, and documentation management to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting project plans, contract specs, and applying engineering principles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel to project sites; valid driver's license.
• Experience with State and Municipal construction and materials specifications.
• Experience in commercial, public works, or roadway projects.

Responsibilities

• Process Submittals.
• Serve as the Construction Contract Administrator, administering contract terms during construction.
• Perform on-site observations/inspections for code, contract, and standard compliance; frequent job-site visits.
• Assist Director of Construction with management or administrative duties.
• Assist with bid periods and construction administration; coordinate with owner and public agencies.
