Clark Bros Inc. in Fresno, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. You will process vendor invoices, code costs to projects, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires construction AP experience and strong Excel/Outlook skills, with exposure to Trimble Viewpoint Vista preferred. Expect a Monday–Friday, office-based schedule with a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Construction accounts payable experience required.
• Experience with Trimble Viewpoint Vista strongly preferred.
• Understanding of construction job costing, purchase orders, subcontractor invoicing, and lien release documentation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process vendor invoices received through email, mail, vendor portals, and other sources.
• Scan, upload, and enter invoices into the accounting system for electronic approval and processing.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to obtain invoice approvals, accurate job costing, and supporting documentation.
• Review invoices for accuracy, documentation, and proper coding prior to payment.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records for invoices, payments, and related documentation.
• Obtain and track required vendor and subcontractor documentation, including lien releases and certificates of insurance.
• Assist with weekly check runs and electronic payment processing.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and identify outstanding or missing invoices.
