Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager for a fast‑growing commercial construction company. You will lead a three-person accounting team, manage month‑end close, GL, reconciliations, and robust job-costing while partnering with project teams and ownership.

The role is on-site in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment, with compensation ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 DOE and direct report to the owner.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, GL, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Construction or project accounting experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy and open to new software.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Hands-on, with owner interaction.
• Ability to lead and improve processes while handling details.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person accounting team.
• Manage month-end close, general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare short-term cash-flow forecasts.
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes.
• Develop and maintain appropriate accounting controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with the owner.
• Work closely with project managers and project coordinators.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve accounting processes.
• Coordinate with outside CPA and other financial partners.
