RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is hiring an Accounting Manager for a commercial construction/project-based business. You will lead the accounting operations, manage a small team, and collaborate closely with owners and project staff in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, month-end close, cash flow management, and project accounting, with a strong preference for QuickBooks Online proficiency and tech-savvy process improvements.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on in a small to mid-sized company accounting team.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience and solid Excel skills.
• Experience with job-costing and project accounting a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and a three-person team.
• Manage month-end close, GL and reconciliations.
• Oversee AP, AR, collections and customer billing.
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash-flow forecasts.
• Strengthen job-costing and project-accounting processes.
• Develop accounting controls and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Collaborate with project managers and external partners.
