Job summary

CFS in Avon, IN is seeking an Office Manager with a strong accounting focus to own accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support within a growing construction team.

This on-site role combines office administration with financial workflows, offering hands-on job costing, project financials, and close collaboration with leadership and project managers to improve processes and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in office management with a strong emphasis on accounting (construction experience preferred).
• Solid understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting fundamentals.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and collections
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and budgeting activities
• Track job costs, monitor project expenses, and coordinate vendor payments
• Assist with payroll processing, time tracking, and compliance documentation
• Oversee daily office operations, file management, and administrative coordination
