Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience in residential, commercial, multifamily, or general construction.
• Proven job costing experience.
• Experience managing lien waivers.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, payroll, and construction invoicing.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle construction accounting across multiple active projects.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and manage construction invoicing.
• Maintain accurate project job costing and cost tracking.
• Administer construction contracts and documentation.
• Prepare and submit bank draw packages.
• Handle certified payroll reporting and weekly payroll submissions.
• Manage lien waivers and subcontractor compliance documents.
• Maintain subcontractor agreements, W-9s, and vendor records.
• Prepare and process annual 1099 reporting.
• Assist with insurance reporting and project-related financial administration.
• Support project execution with leadership and project management teams.
• Suggest improvements to accounting workflows and system enhancements.
