Job summary

Jobtailor in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Construction Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for multiple active projects. You will oversee AP/AR, invoicing, job costing, and contract documentation to keep financials accurate and on track.

The role requires at least 5 years in construction accounting, strong QuickBooks skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams and leadership to support project execution and system improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience in residential, commercial, multifamily, or general construction.
• Proven job costing experience.
• Experience managing lien waivers.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, payroll, and construction invoicing.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams and leadership.
