Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in construction.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including bank reconciliations and GL maintenance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong data-entry skills including ten-key calculator use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with payroll processing, vendor management, and cost coding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable with timely invoice processing and aging reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with payroll functions including processing and record-keeping.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure expenses are coded and matched accurately.
• Use Microsoft Office and Excel to maintain records and generate reports.
• Perform data entry and costing analyses as needed.
• Contribute to cost control procedures and costing reports.
• Handle ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role involves a wide range of tasks, such as data entry, record keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a skilled multi‑tasker, is reliable, and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• 1. Overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and maintaining accurate aging reports.
• 2. Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger.
• 3. Assisting with payroll functions, including processing, payment, and record keeping.
• 4. Working with vendors, ensuring all expenses are coded and matched correctly.
• 5. Performing data entry tasks and utilizing Microsoft Office and Excel to maintain records and create reports.
• 6. Utilizing a ten‑key calculator to ensure accurate data entry and record keeping.
• 7. Managing time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• 8. Assisting with cost control procedures, including the preparation and analysis of costing reports.
• 9. Performing other duties as assigned, including special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
• 2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
• 3. Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and aging reports.
• 4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• 5. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• 6. Strong data entry skills, with experience using a ten‑key calculator.
• 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 9. Experience with payroll processing, vendor management, and expense coding.
• 10. A strong understanding of cost control procedures.
