Gilbane Building Company is seeking an Accounting Practitioner to partner with the accounting team to perform basic manual and computer related accounting tasks, primarily in the office.

You will collaborate with an experienced team on invoicing, payments, payroll data, and supporting month-end processes while under close supervision. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities within a large, reputable contractor.

Qualificações

• Very good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Scanning AP invoices
• Process payments, invoices and vouchers
• Extract specified information or add appropriate standard coding and attachments to documents
• Compile simple summaries of information relating to documents processed
• Manage timesheet collection, approval and other items related to the payroll process
• Locate and extract information from files and records as requested
• May perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division manually or using a calculator
• Assist Senior Accounting Practitioner under close supervision
