Ledgent is seeking a motivated Accountant to join a growing construction and service-based organization in the greater Boston area. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations across AP, AR, invoicing, cash applications, reconciliations, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong invoicing, collections, and general accounting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Construction, service industry, or project-based accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP and AR activities
• Process invoicing, collections, and cash applications
• Assist with month-end accounting and reporting functions
• Monitor cash flow and support payment processing
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Partner with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency
