Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Accountant in Boston to support the Finance team with financial administration for construction projects. You will collaborate with Project Teams to ensure timely processing of transactions, cost tracking, and reporting, including AP, subcontractor costing, owner billings, and monthly cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable (AP) invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Set up and maintain project budgets in the accounting system.
• Prepare and submit owner billing packages in accordance with contract terms.
• Process intercompany invoices and payments; perform regular reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly cost reports and financial closings.
• Ensure project accounting complies with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors and clients to resolve discrepancies.
• Organize and manage project-related financial documentation and records.
• Support contract reconciliation and ensure accurate cost tracking.
