Job summary

1+ years of land stewardship or environmental field work.
Strong navigation and geolocation skills are required.
Knowledge of South Florida ecosystems and herbicide experience is a plus.
Ability to learn plant/animal identification and adapt to field conditions.

Responsibilities

Remove invasive and native nuisance plants using field equipment.
Assist with prescribed fire preparations, coordination, ignition, and mop up.
Maintain records of land stewardship activities, inventories, and applications.
Assist with invasive animal monitoring, reporting, and removal as needed.
Operate and maintain field vehicles and equipment; ensure safety in field operations.
Train and supervise volunteers on land stewardship tasks.
