Job summary

CrossBridge Alliance in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Connections Pastor responsible for connecting people to God, the congregation, and the community through discipleship, ministry development, teaching, and partnership. The role focuses on building relationships and developing leaders.

You will report to the Lead Pastor, help design pathways for guests and long-time attendees to engage in ministries, and collaborate with the pastoral team to advance outreach and care across the church and region.

Qualifications

• Design and implement discipleship pathways to connect guests to ministry
• Oversee volunteer leaders and foster a culture of discipleship
• Build authentic relationships through pastoral care and outreach
• Collaborate with staff and elders to align worship, outreach and care

Responsibilities

• Connection Structures: design systems to move first-time guests toward active involvement
• Develop pathways for longer-term attenders to ministries
• Team Development: recruit, equip, and supervise volunteer leaders
• Relational Ministry: provide pastoral care and guidance
• Program Oversight: oversee discipleship programs and leadership development
• Train and recruit Small Group leaders
• Identify gifts/passions and create serving opportunities
• Be a welcoming presence at church gatherings and in the community
