Job summary

CrossBridge Alliance seeks a Connections Pastor to connect people to God, the CrossBridge congregation, and the broader community through discipleship, ministry development, teaching, and partnership. The role emphasizes building relationships and mobilizing volunteers.

The successful candidate will lead relational ministry, develop pathways for long-time attendees, and collaborate with staff to integrate worship, outreach and care ministries while modeling a welcoming presence in church life.

Qualifications

• General alignment with the C&MA's Mission and Statement of Faith.
• Mature, Spirit-filled Christian with a heart for people.
• Experience building and overseeing volunteer teams.
• Able to license or ordain with C&MA or pursue licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design systems to move guests to engaged members.
• Develop pathways connecting attendees to ministries.
• Recruit and train volunteer leaders for discipleship.
• Provide pastoral care and build authentic relationships.
• Oversee discipleship programs, classes and mentoring.
• Train and recruit small group leaders.
• Arrange discipleship resources for groups and classes.
• Collaborate with staff and leaders to align worship, outreach and care.
