Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group in Houston seeks a Machine Monitoring Specialist to act as the frontline expert for John Deere Connected Support tools, monitoring machine health, diagnosing issues, and guiding remote and on-site repairs to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will analyze diagnostic data from JDLink and Service ADVISOR, coordinate with service technicians, communicate with customers, and contribute to continuous improvement by capturing insights and trends.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment diagnostics or telematics systems.
• Familiarity with John Deere equipment and software tools (JDLink, Service ADVISOR).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access), CDK or equivalent (dealer business system), ADP, Handel (CRM), and TargIt (BI system).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Post-secondary education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine health and performance using telematics.
• Analyze diagnostic trouble codes and performance data.
• Perform remote diagnostics and software updates using Service ADVISOR Remote.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely repairs.
• Communicate with customers regarding issues and recommendations.
• Document machine issues, resolutions and interactions.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements.
