Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners in Macon, MO is seeking a skilled service technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and technology in a full-time role. You will work with the service team to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), experience with diagnostics, safe operation of tools and vehicles, and strong documentation of work orders. Valid driver's license is required; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience performing diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Ability to operate vehicles and use diagnostic tools.
• Strong documentation and time-keeping for service orders.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and supports customer clinics.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Documents diagnostics and repairs on work orders; submits information on time.
• Participates in SERVICE EDUCATE training to develop skills.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required for the job.
• Maintains a clean, neat, orderly work area and follows safety rules.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
