Job summary

Servier is seeking an Associate Director, Congress Portfolio Management, to lead congress strategy, governance, and execution within US Medical Affairs. The role partners across US and Global Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical Development, Compliance, Communications, and Operations to deliver compliant, high-quality congress experiences.

Based in Boston, MA with 25–30% travel, the position requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in congress operations or portfolio

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience in congress/event operations, portfolio management, or strategic program management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Experience managing large-scale national and/or international medical congresses.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams through matrix leadership without direct authority.
Experience with annual congress planning cycles, governance, vendor relationships, forecasting, and budgeting.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements, including PhRMA and EFPIA.

Responsibilities

Lead congress portfolio strategy, governance, and resource allocation.
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across US and Global Medical Affairs and other functions.
Direct planning and execution of congresses and society engagements.
Manage budgets, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
Establish scalable congress management processes and ensure compliance.
