BCD Meetings & Events is seeking an Animal Health & Congress Project Manager to lead life sciences congresses in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will own the planning journey from registration and logistics to budgets, supplier coordination, and final reconciliation.

You will manage attendee registration, rooming, communications and reporting while sourcing and negotiating with hotels, DMCs, transportation partners and venues.

Competenze

• College degree in Event Management or similar.
• Pharmaceutical compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with Cvent and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

About the Role

Due to continued growth with this dedciated client we are increasing the team. Love bringing complex events to life? As an Animal Health & Congress Project Manager, you'll lead Life Sciences congresses and related meetings in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where precision, compliance, and great client service all matter. You'll own the planning journey from registration and logistics to budgets, supplier coordination, and final reconciliation. If you're energised by keeping lots of moving pieces on track while creating a smooth attendee experience, you'll fit right in. You're Good At Managing congresses or meetings from kick-off calls through closeout, with strong ownership of timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day coordination. Experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing outside vendors such as hotels, DMCs, transportation partners, and venues Working in a structured, compliance-focused Life Sciences environment where accuracy, documentation, and audit readiness are essential. Handling attendee registration, rooming, communications, reporting, and last-minute changes as your normal working day.. Partnering with clients, PCOs, medical societies, and suppliers to keep logistics running smoothly and solve problems quickly. Working on multiple projects with a variety of deliverables and deadlines. Building and tracking budgets, reviewing invoices and contracts, and keeping stakeholders informed on financial updates and risks You Might Also Have Previous experience of Animal Health events along with Human Health event experience. College degree in Event Management or similar. Pharmaceutical compliance knowledge. Familiarity with Cvent and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office You Should Know Role is home based in either Spain or United Kingdom, you must hold the relevant Rights to work in either country. Our core office hours are Monday - Friday 0900-1730 hours with an hour for lunch. You will be required to travel onsite to events on occasion which may include travel internationally and may include weekends.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in Spain is between Euros 33,000 - 38,000 and for the UK is GBP 33,000 - 37,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget .
