Job summary

Ascension's AMG Providence CHF Clinic in Waco, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an established CHF team in an outpatient setting. This full-time role offers a strong mentorship culture and opportunities to impact patient care.

The position requires TX NP licensure, a Master's in Nursing, BLS, and a focus on high-quality, cost-conscious care. Epic and Athena EMR experience is preferred. CME allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Requires TX NP licensure and a Master’s in Nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with outpatient CHF management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for CHF patients in an outpatient setting.
• Collaborate with CHF team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Utilize EMR to document patient encounters and coordinate care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing preferred.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
