Job summary

Holland & Knight is seeking a Conflicts Specialist to join our team in Tampa, FL, or the Dallas office. You will run conflict reports, prepare summaries, and support attorneys with conflict prevention and resolution.

Ideal candidates have up to 3 years of legal experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure. A Bachelor's degree is required; a JD is preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years legal experience, preferably in conflicts within a large law firm.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Discretion in escalations and issue communication.
• Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Strong research, computer, and database skills.
• Ability to train and mentor Conflicts Clerks.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree; JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review new matter memos for accuracy and completion.
• Search all relevant parties in the conflicts database.
• Review conflict of interest reports and prepare summaries.
• Provide summaries to attorneys and respond to questions.
• Follow firm policies for searching and reporting conflicts.
• Keep shared documents current and accurate.
• Assist with training Conflicts Clerks and mentorship.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
