Job summary

Consultative Search Group is assisting a global law firm in Houston, TX, recruiting a Conflicts Analyst to support New Business and Lateral New Hire conflicts and Engagement Management. The role requires collaboration with attorneys and staff to identify and resolve conflicts of interest in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of three years’ conflicts analysis with new business or lateral new hire reviews at a law firm preferred.
• At least three years’ experience with Intapp Open, Intapp Walls, NetDocs or similar risk management applications preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with acute attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable communicating with attorneys and staff to obtain information for conflicts clearance and provide service.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work flexible and extended hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize conflict check reports using the firm’s automated conflicts database.
• Analyze requests for New Business conflicts and gather information with attorneys to complete forms.
• Oversee conflicts review for lateral hires and new candidates; resolve potential conflicts with clients.
• Research prospective clients and entities to summarize steps to address conflicts per guidelines.
• Update data in conflicts and financial databases and verify accuracy.
• Interact with Conflicts Attorneys to discuss reports and required reviews.
• Follow up on conflict issues to ensure timely resolution and identify new issues.
• Respond to department emails accurately and professionally.
• Assist in training other team members.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
