Job summary

ProspectBlue is partnering with a well-established firm in Richmond, VA to identify a Business Intake and Conflicts Analyst. This role supports the Business Intake team by researching, evaluating, and addressing potential conflicts of interest and client relationship concerns related to new clients, matters, and lateral attorney hires.

The analyst will oversee gathering and analyzing information to identify conflicts, work with attorneys to resolve issues, and assist with risk management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• At least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate information regarding clients, involved parties, and the scope of proposed services for conflict analysis.
• Collaborate with attorneys to obtain necessary information and address potential conflicts.
• Develop and execute searches within conflicts databases and conduct related research.
• Communicate findings to attorneys and advise on potential courses of action.
• Review new business requests for potential conflicts and risk management issues.
• Assist with resolving conflicts independently or with lawyers.
• Apply professional rules of conduct and firm policies when evaluating conflicts.
