Job summary

Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to review conflicts of interest and support New Business Intake. You will assist with financial vetting, AML considerations, and risk assessments using AI-enabled platforms to improve due diligence and intake efficiency.

Responsibilities include conducting conflict searches, maintaining databases, and coordinating with attorneys and risk teams. A minimum of 2 years in a legal conflicts role and knowledge of 3E are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of legal-related experience, preferably in conflicts.
• Proficiency in 3E and Microsoft Office; ability to learn new tech.
• Strong research/analytical skills with ability to draft reporting documents.
• Experience supporting new business intake, client onboarding, conflicts resolution, or risk management in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of conflict check processes to vet clients for potential conflicts.
• Input and maintain information in the Firm's database ensuring data integrity for Conflicts and Billing.
• Answer conflicts inquiries from internal clients with excellent service.
• Process New Business Intake forms and activate new clients/matters; monitor progress.
• Conduct financial and business risk assessments of prospective clients; escalate concerns with attorneys and risk teams.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to enhance conflict analysis, due diligence, and intake workflows while ensuring compliance.
• Assist with development/improvement of technology-driven intake and conflicts processes.
• May be asked to perform additional tasks and projects as requested.
