Miles & Stockbridge seeks a Conflicts and Intake Analyst to join our prestigious law firm in Baltimore. You will conduct thorough conflict searches, assess waivers, and maintain strict confidentiality while supporting firm growth and client service.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in law firm conflicts roles, strong analytical skills, and experience with Intapp systems. A Bachelor’s degree is required, paralegal cert a plus; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a conflicts analyst in a law firm or legal environment.
• Knowledge of ethical rules and risk management for conflicts.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Understanding of large law firm operations and commercial terms.
• Proficiency in technical applications.
• Experience with Dun & Bradstreet, Capital IQ, Hoover’s.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive conflicts searches across engagements and matters.
• Analyze conflict requests and assess accuracy/completeness.
• Evaluate conflict waivers and provide recommendations to management.
• Develop and implement conflict management procedures.
• Support firm growth by analyzing lateral candidates.
• Maintain firm databases and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Mentor junior intake staff and train on conflict procedures.
• Stay current on laws and regulations related to conflicts of interest.
