Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detail-oriented conflicts analyst in Los Angeles to conduct attorney conflict searches using IManage Conflicts Management (ICM) and to prepare accurate conflict reports.

The role requires strong analytical skills, solid MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with partners and legal staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new business and incoming/lateral attorney conflict of interest searches for all Davis Polk offices using iManage Conflicts Management (ICM)
• Review new matter conflicts requests for accuracy and clarify parties, roles, and matter descriptions before processing
• Understand firm matter types and search relevant parties in the conflicts database
• Prepare database search terms and create conflicts reports, including high-volume and bulk searches
• Apply uniform criteria, standards, and procedures to run conflict reports
• Perform corporate research to identify related parties
• Keep shared documents current and accurate
• Update and maintain conflicts database records
• Collaborate with Conflicts, Recruiting, Human Resources, and Office of the General Counsel teams
• Perform special projects as required
• Provide on-call coverage when assigned
