Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Director of Conflicts to partner with Risk Management and the Office of the General Counsel. The role focuses on establishing efficient conflict checking processes, mitigating risk, and enabling timely, accurate work product across multiple offices.

The director will lead training, supervise managers and analysts, and coordinate with business intake and other departments to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; JD strongly preferred but not required.
• Extensive conflicts experience in a law firm environment; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee firm-wide conflict check processes and approvals.
• Develop and enforce policies for conflicts, intake, and risk management.
• Lead and mentor conflicts team; provide training and guidance to staff.
• Collaborate with Business Intake and other departments to streamline processes.
• Monitor systems, reporting, and audits related to conflicts and ethics.
